The Yearbook of the “George Barițiu” Institute of History in Cluj-Napoca, Series Humanistica, publishes studies in sociology, anthropology, psychology, philosophy, economics and Law. The Yearbook also includes an Opinion and Debate section as well as a Reviews section.
Submissions can be sent by e-mail to secretariat.dcsu@acad-cj.ro any time and will be considered for the following issue.
The manuscript of a submitted study should have approximately 15-20 pages in the A4 format, with 2.75cm margins. The text is to follow the grammar and spelling norms of the language that was chosen by its authors and it will be sent to our editorial staff in electronic format. The body text of your manuscript has to be delivered in an editable format (doc, docx or rtf) typeset in Times New Roman, 12pts, 1.5 line spacing.
All tables and figures (object format) are to be named and numbered (with a reference in the body text of the study: e.g., Tabel x; Fig., or Figure x). Footnotes must be written single-spaced in Times New Roman, 10pts. Your manuscript needs to be accompanied by an abstract in English.
The abstract, written in Times New Roman, 10pt, needs to have approximately 300 words and is to be placed at the beginning of the study, after its title, the author’s, or authors’ name and their institutional affiliation. Authors also need to provide an English version of the title. After the abstract, there are to be placed at least five key words in English.
Manuscripts submitted for the Scientific Opinions and Debates section have to be no longer than 10 pages, typewritten in the same way as the studies. Editorial staff welcomes recently published works (i.e., not older than five years) for reviewing, or written reviews no longer than five pages.
A manuscript has to be accompanied by a short presentation of its author/authors (scientific titles, institutional affiliation and the areas of scientific interest, contact address).
The authors assume complete responsibility for the originality of their studies as well as the opinions expressed.
